Live Streaming CDN
Live delivery that starts with your source
Whether you send a stream from an encoder or already publish it from your own server, CDNsun gives you a way to deliver it through a global CDN. You choose how the stream enters the platform; your viewers play it from your CDN service domain instead of connecting directly to your source.
A Publishing Point receives or fetches your live stream, while a connected CDN HTTP Live service delivers it to viewers. That separation lets you keep your existing production workflow while moving viewer traffic onto the CDN.
Choose the ingest path that fits your workflow
Streaming from an encoder? Use RTMP Push to send your live feed to a CDNsun Publishing Server. CDNsun converts the incoming RTMP stream to HLS for delivery. This is also the input method that can turn a single-bitrate stream into a multi-bitrate HLS stream.
Already running an RTMP or RTSP source? Use RTMP/RTSP Pull. CDNsun fetches the stream from your server and converts it to HLS for delivery; your encoder can keep publishing to its existing destination.
Already producing HLS? Use HLS Pull to fetch the published stream from your origin, or HLS Push to place its manifests or playlists and segments in CDN Storage.
From Publishing Point to playback
Create a Publishing Point for your selected input, then attach it as the origin of a CDN HTTP Live service. Set your playback domain and follow the generated integration instructions. Your player requests the live playlist and segments through that domain; the CDN serves viewers without each player connecting to your origin.
CDN HTTP Live distributes streams through CDNsun's network. You can choose CDN locations to match where your viewers are, and use the dashboard or API to monitor traffic and costs. For setup instructions, see the CDN HTTP Live guide.
Pricing that follows delivery
CDN traffic is billed pay as you go, with no monthly fee and no separate per-request, streaming, or transcoding charge. See the pricing page for more details.
